AIRCRAFT & SYSTEMS
OUR AIRCRAFT
We operate both AT502-B and AT602: turbine-powered aircraft manufactured by AirTractor, which are fitted with data logging and flow control equipment. We inspect the aircraft prior to every workday and work closely with our engineers for all maintenance and servicing needs to ensure we provide an optimum service to our clients. During busy periods we may source additional aircraft from around Australia to ensure we can meet our clients' needs. We have a successful professional partnership with Field Air, Australia’s AirTractor dealer, which allows us to quickly increase our aircraft fleet and staff availability during times of increased demand.
APPLICATION EQUIPMENT
All our equipment is well maintained, and thoroughly inspected prior to each workday. We use:
> A genuine Transland Spreader for solids application
> CP Flat Fan Carousel nozzles for liquid applications, which allow for selection of exact size for droplet spectrum and application rate
> Micronair AU5000 atomisers for conventional low volume and specialised ultra low volume liquid applications, with a flow rate of 0-23L per minute and droplet size of 60-750 microns VMD.
GPS SYSTEMS
Kidman Aviation owns the SatLoc G4, the most advanced aerial guidance system available on the market, which assists us in flying and applying precise applications. We use the system to store, analyse and retrieve field data, and the details of each job are saved for our records. The SatLoc G4 has dual-rate functionality and automatically controls spray rates for both constant or variable rate applications, allowing for the most accurate application possible. Prescription maps can be emailed and directly uploaded into the system, providing accurate and timely completion of all variable rate jobs.
